As writers, we mine and sell our thoughts. Thoughts are transient however. So if one were to, say, lay in bed with the worse headache you can imagine for well over a year (herxheimer). You'll have to unplug from the chorus of misery playing on a loop inside your head.

Through conquering chronic lyme disease which cost a lot of years, money, tinctures, dietary changes, therapies and just work, I've been forced/blessed to learn to dissociate from my mind, which is something most writers don't do nearly enough.

It's a small bar, I really like the owners, but I, myself never go there. If you want to properly dance to some Hip Hop, Encore at de Melkweg or whatever is happening at the Bitterzoet are more viable alternatives. It's good for a drink tho :)

There's Encore in de Melkweg which is my mans party, it's nice. There's usually some more underground house stuff happening at the Shelter which is a bit more anonymous & ravy. Kopstootbar is a nice cafe with good DJ's, tho quite high in caucasity and ehm
